100 Kilometer and 50 Kilometer timed gravel grinder with full results. Held on twisty, rolling gravel roads north of Monument and west of Elbert, Colorado. Starts and finishs at Peaceful Valley Scout Camp, 22799 N Elbert rd, Elbert ,Co 80106 ,south entrance.
Classes: Men and Women, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+. No equipment based classes.
Awards and awards ceremony only for 100 Kilometer distance classes. A Colorado Gravel Grinder Championships event .

Feed stations will have water, energy drink, a limited number of energy gels, granola bars, PB&J sandwiches and Lutefisk.

This will show public road section of 100K course. After the event covers 53 miles on public roads it will enter Peaceful Valley Scout Camp and cover 3-5 miles of dirt roads, two track and single track. The 50K course will cover the eastern 26 mile loop of 100K course before returning to Peacefull Valley Scout Camp and cover the same 3-5 miles of dirt roads ,two track and single track as the 100K. There will be limited on course marking . Course maps will be given out at registration. With the wet conditions ,the 3-5 miles at Peaceful Valley Scout Camp may not be rideable and thus may be dropped .
Allowed but not required. May only give support at fueling stations. Support crews will be required to use specified non-race routes to fueling stations .Although we recommend having a support crew , we do not believe that they will provide a distinct advantage. Support crews may greet racers at the feed station by Lincoln Park or when they return to Peacfull Valley Scout Camp .
GPS, working head and tail light (micro light is acceptable), helmet. Course maps will be given out at registration. Particapants are incouraged to mount map to handlebars so that maps are readable while riding. The combination of riding with your head up, haveing a handlebar readable map and course marking arrows, may be sufficient for successful navagation. Maps stuffed in back pocket have low value.
